Awards
The awards sub-team focuses upon making sure the team is eligible to receive awards. We also keep track of what awards we try for, how we are doing in working toward them, and what still needs to be completed for whichever awards we are trying to receive. Our VP this year, Lindsey King, has provided us with the leadership and organization we have needed to get our awards submitted on time and as perfect as we can get them.

Lindsey here, happy to report Leah and I got the Chairman’s essays completely submitted! Soon we will begin working on the video supplement for the award! We’d like to thank everyone who has helped us in editing and finalizing our essays.
In other news, we’ve started to wade through all of our pictures to create our now yearly Scrap Book. Last year we combined our first years into one book, and now we will have a new volume every year! Again, we’d like to thank everyone who has contributed pictures.
Tomorrow we are holding the Annual Colorado Scrimmage, and I am so excited to meet all the Colorado teams that will be attending! To all those attending, there will be a concession stand. We will donate our team’s proceeds to a local school organization, Cougars Care. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
